Highway Reporting Tool

Report potholes with the Highway Reporting ToolYou can use the tool at www.suffolk.gov.uk and report the following:

  • Potholes
  • Empty salt grit heap
  • Blocked drains
  • Problems with drain manhole covers
  • Faulty street lights
  • Obscured, missing or damaged signs
  • Trees or hedges affecting the highway
  • Pavement defects
  • Missing or faded road markings
  • Incidents involving Heavy Goods Vehicles
  • Problems with bridge or highway structure
  • Debris, weed or mud on the road
  • Flooding on a road or pavement
  • Problems with public right of way

There are FIVE easy steps:

  • Read the information on the entry screen then click the continue button.
  • Find your location by typing the road name, parish or postcode of the problem in the search box.
  • Click on the map to plot the location of the problem.
  • Complete the short Report a Problem form.
  • Click the Submit Report button.

It only takes a few minutes to complete the form and you can track the progress. You can also report a problem with the highway by emailing:
