Saturday 2nd June - 1pm until 6pm
Recreation Ground, Church Hill, Monks Eleigh. IP7 7JL
The fete and dog show offer traditional family fun and a lovely way to spend a summer's afternoon with friends in one of Suffolk’s prettiest villages. Funds go towards maintaining the fabric of St Peters, a 15th century place of worship in the heart of the village. More specifically, this year towards providing a WC in the tower.
The dog show is highlight, and this year’s theme of flower power is sure to see the entrants parading in some spectacular outfits. There is plenty of seating, and visitors alternate circuits of the stalls with avid following of events in the main ring. All are welcome, especially dogs, (who do need to be on a lead), children, grandparents, and visitors.
Entry is FREE, so come along for and afternoon of Traditional family fun. The fete will be opened by Rev. Carol Mansell and author and Astrid Lindgren prize winner, Meg Rosoff. Attractions include:
